Chad M. Burchard is an associate attorney at MM&R, where he concentrates his practice in commercial real estate transactions and business law. He advises clients through a wide range of real estate and business matters, providing practical legal guidance backed by more than a decade of transactional experience.

Before joining MM&R in 2026, Chad practiced as an associate attorney in Evansville, Illinois, where his work focused on coal, oil, and gas law. Prior to that, he served as an associate in Evansville, handling a variety of real estate and transactional matters.

Earlier in his career, Chad was an associate in the real estate practice group in St. Louis, Missouri. Throughout his legal career, he has represented clients in commercial real estate transactions and business matters, developing a broad understanding of the legal and business considerations involved in complex transactions.

In addition to his legal practice, Chad has contributed to the legal profession through published scholarship. His work was featured in the September 2025 edition of LexisNexis’ Pratt’s Energy Law Report, reflecting his commitment to staying informed on emerging legal issues and developments affecting the industries he serves.
