Colin C. Clark
Colin C. Clark is an associate at Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 2012 with a concentration in urban development, land use and environmental law. During law school, Colin represented SLU Law at the 2011-2012 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, served as a faculty research fellow and completed a judicial externship with the Hon. Philip M. Frazier in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Before law school, Colin attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received a B.A. in Political Science and Communication with a minor in Anthropology.
Colin focuses his practice at MMR in transactional work, including contracts, formation of business entities and mergers and acquisitions. He also assists clients with planning and administration of trusts and estates. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Colin was an associate attorney at Black, Hedin, Ballard, McDonald, P.C., in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. There, he assisted businesses with regulatory compliance and reporting, operational and formation issues and representation before several federal and state agencies, including OSHA and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
Colin is active in his community as a Development Board member and local delegation advisor for Illinois YMCA Youth and Government.
Colin was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2012 and the Missouri Bar in April of 2015. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
